Wedding & Ceremony
Camp Van Plum
5:00pm - 12:00am
Details:
The weekend's main event will be held at Dragonline Studio on Bull Point in Jamestown. Please plan to arrive between 4:30pm and 5:00pm. We have shuttles running, though guests can also schedule an Uber or Lyft, or drive themselves and park at the lot at the base of the driveway. We will have a short cliffside ceremony, then lots of eating, drinking, and merriment. The Revelers and other friends will keep the night alive, so come ready to two-step or square dance.
Geting there:
We will have shuttles from the following departure points:
4:00pm - Hotel Viking, Newport
4:30pm - Jamestown Ferry Landing
Shuttles will be returning to these same locations continuously starting at 10:00pm with the last one leaving at 12:00am. For those not staying near to a shuttle pickup, or those wanting to keep celebrating with us later into the night, Uber or Lyft will also be available (though may be wise to book ahead).
If you are driving to the venue, it is important that you do not attempt to drive up the driveway of the property, there is no parking at the top and it is a bumpy ride. Instead, please continue past the driveway and park in the lot at the end of the point (here is a map). The same should be done for Uber or Lyft drop-offs.
From the lot, a shuttle will take you up to the venue. Shuttles will be available to go up and down the driveway all night, please don't walk yourself as the driveway is narrow and could be dangerous at night. Signs will be set up day-of to direct you!
For directions: 3 Fort Wetherill Road, Jamestown, RI 02835 - here is the address on Google Maps.
Dress:
We want everyone to dress comfortably and festive, and we really don't like when weddings make up some dress code like "Boho Wine Country Chic." Instead, we have put together a lookbook of sorts here to give you some inspiration. There really is no wrong way though, so do you!
One note, as the venue is on the water and largely outdoors it can get chilly at night – please prepare accordingly and bring a jacket or sweater. We also recommend against very high heels, or shoes that will be difficult to navigate grassy, hilly terrain.
