Welcome Drinks
Newport Yacht Club
8:00pm - 10:00pm

Details:
If you are planning to arrive in Rhode Island on Friday evening, we'd love to welcome you for some snacks and drinks at the Newport Yacht Club. If you have some time before and are looking for things to do — here are some of our favorite places!

Getting There:
If you are staying in Newport, the Newport Yacht Club is at the north end of town, a short walk along the water. Note that there is no parking and street parking will be limited on Friday night. There are a couple of paid lots not far from the club.

If you are staying in Jamestown, the Jamestown-Newport Ferry runs regularly and lands on the pier next to the club. Check schedule and departure times here.

For directions: 110 Long Wharf, Newport, RI 02840 – here is the address on Google Maps.

Dress:
Casual, but bring a jacket as the club is directly on the harbor and it can be chilly at night.

Saturday, September 14

Wedding & Ceremony
Camp Van Plum
5:00pm - 12:00am

Details:
The weekend's main event will be held at Dragonline Studio on Bull Point in Jamestown. Please plan to arrive between 4:30pm and 5:00pm. We will have a short cliffside ceremony, then lots of eating, drinking, and merriment. The Revelers and other friends will keep the night alive, so come ready to two-step or square dance.

Geting There:
We will have shuttles from the following departure points:
4:00pm - Hotel Viking, Newport
4:30pm - Jamestown Ferry Landing

Shuttles will be returning to these same locations continuously starting at 10:00pm with the last one leaving at 12:00am. For those not staying near to a shuttle pickup, or those wanting to keep celebrating with us later into the night, Uber or Lyft will also be available (though may be wise to book ahead).

If you are driving to the venue, it is important that you do not attempt to drive up the driveway of the property, there is no parking at the top and it is a bumpy ride. Instead, please continue past the driveway and park in the lot at the end of the point (here is a map). The same should be done for Uber or Lyft drop-offs.

From the lot, a shuttle will take you up to the venue. Shuttles will be available to go up and down the driveway all night, please don't walk yourself as the driveway is narrow and could be dangerous at night. Signs will be set up day-of to direct you!

For directions: 3 Fort Wetherill Road, Jamestown, RI 02835 – here is the address on Google Maps.

Dress:
We want everyone to dress comfortably and festive, and we really don't like when weddings make up some dress code like "Boho Wine Country Chic." Instead, we have put together a lookbook to give you some inspiration. There really is no wrong way though, so do you!

One note, as the venue is on the water and largely outdoors it can get chilly at night – please prepare accordingly and bring a jacket or sweater. We also recommend against very high heels, or shoes that will be difficult to navigate grassy, hilly terrain.

Sunday, September 15th

Breakfast
Plum Beach Club
10:00am

Details:
We will be hosting a casual breakfast (expect some NYC delicacies!) and beach hang at the charming Plum Beach Club on Sunday morning. While the wedding itself is adults-only, we would love to welcome little ones to the brunch as the beach and club are great for families.

The Plum Beach Club is located just over the Verrazzano Bridge from Jamestown in Saunderstown. If you are headed back to New York, the Kingston Train Station, or the airport, it is on the way.

If you are driving, there is a parking lot on site. For directions: 224 Plum Beach Rd, Saunderstown, RI 02874 – here is the address on Google Maps.

Dress:
Whatever you'd like. There is a beautiful beach in front of the club, so bring a swimsuit if you would like to take a dip or go clamming!

THE VENUE

BULL POINT

studio
rocky

Bull Point is home to Dragonline Studio, an artist’s home and studio. Set inside of the Fort Wetherill State Park, the property features panoramic views of Narragansett Bay, Castle Hill, the Newport Bridge, and a sprawling lawn that hugs the rocky shore below. The point once featured a grand Queen Anne-style mansion called Harbor Entrance and was the filming site of Moonrise Kingdom.

This special slice of coastline will play home to the weekend's festivities and event. Please note that while beautiful, the venue is rustic, rocky, and hilly. It is also on a cliff. For this reason, the venue is not safe for small children or high heels.
